Vulcan 040 hammer.
Ram weight = 40 kip.
Helmet weight = 31 kip.
Ram drop = 3 feet, 80% efficiency.
Cushion = 2x(2.5” Hamortex + 1.5” new plywood), 8″ thick, 25″ diameter.
Pile = 36″ O.D. with 1″ wall, 200 feet long, embedded 100 feet in the ground.
Soil resistance = 10% under the point, 90% distributed uniformly along the side of the pile.
Maximum expected resistance to driving at refusal = 2000 kips.
Soil Quake at point = Soil Quake on side = 0.1″
Soil damping = 0.05 sec/ft on side, 0.15 sec/ft under point.
